Congress is trying to pass another law that will completely invade our privacy on the internet. They will be able to search anything and everything we've ever searched or downloaded on the internet without a warrant.

Congress will vote Monday 4/23/2012. Spread the word to as many people as possible.

I feel like were fighting an uphill battle with government and their trying to grab the root of the internet yet this bill seems more like a cover your ass for companies then a SOPA twin. That said CISPA still is a sucker-punch to everyone's privacy.

It seems like they are trying to remove your ability to sue the companies & government for giving government agencies(pick one they will be able to share information between them with this bill) your account information on request without a subpoena. Wrap that one around your brain for a second. Now you will see why quite a few tech companies are behind this bill, but for the rest of us this sucks. Who will be held accountable if the information obtained was wrong and led to an unwarranted arrest but later found innocent? The government would be protected as with the companies. Sucks to be you.

My main reason to oppose this bill is because I believe that there are checks in place so private information isn't freely obtainable on a whim. I demand due process when the government is pursuing a target for whatever reason. Obtaining private information on an individual with first passing a check from our judicial system ensuring its legality is something that I think should remain intact.

Down with CISPA, save due process!

I concur. Wish there was as much uproar about this as there was to SOPA/PIPA. Sadly, we can only get people to mass protest for a cause once a year (if that).
