Knowing  there  is  a  bunch  of  geek  here  in  the  o2o  website,  (I  kid,  love  ya  guys)  I  was  wondering  what  Christmas  gift  should  I  get?
I  am  into  electronics  but  ANY  ideas  are  welcome.  I  was  thinking  of  the  iTouch  because  that  thing  is  pretty  badass  but  given  the  price  of  300-400$  I  am  little  bit  in  doubt  that  it  has  the  bang  for  its  buck.

Can  any  of  you  guys  give  me  some  ideas  for  a  good  Christmas  gift?  (try  to  keep  the  price  no  higher  then  400$)

Can't  really  get  a  sound  system  for  my  room.  My  mom  works  during  the  night  so  I  have  to  use  my  headphones  when  I  am  on  the  PC  so  I  don't  wake  her  up  when  she  is  sleeping  during  the  day.

I  hope  you  don't  tell  that  to  your  loved  ones  during  Christmas  without  handing  them  a  gift.  =P

You  have  to  stop  living  in  the  past.  It  is  not  about  Santa,  Christmas  tree,  the  dinner  with  the  family,  the  shared  love...  Today,  it  is  all  about  the  presents.  I'm  not  proud  to  say  it  but  it  is  true,  this  goes  to  all  the  holidays.  When  the  fuck  did  the  resurrection  of  Jesus  Christ  a  bunny  with  eggs  come  out?

Christmas  will  always  be  about  1  thing,  to  bad  you  can't  see  what  it  is.  Merry  x  mas  anyways..  from  our  hearts  to  yours.

Tis  the  season  for  giving,  I  donated  $500  for  a  family  so  they  can  receive  some  joy.  Also  donated  $100  worth  of  groceries  so  they  may  also  eat  food  of  life.  I  urge  people  to  give  what  they  can  to  others  for  goodness  shown  is  goodness  received.  And  it  has  nothing  to  do  with  money  goodness  of  the  heart  comes  in  many  forms.

This  Christmas  seems  to  be  the  year  of  the  GPS.   To  get  really  could  ones  you  are  only  paying  $150-$200,  maybe  $400  for  the  top,  top  of  the  line  one.

If  you  see  a  Wii  in  the  stores,  grab  it.   During  Thanksgiving  week  in  the  US,  they  sold  350,  000.   Nintendo  are  cranking  out  1.8  million  systems  a  month,  and  you  still  can't  find  them  anywhere.

I  think  the  iPod  Touch  is  great.   I  paid  $300  for  mine  (8  GB  version),  and  I  love  it.   I  got  music,  videos,  podcasts,  pictures,  and  Wi-Fi  all  in  one  slim  as  shit  mp3  player.   Plus  you  have  the  beautiful  3.5"  touch  screen,  with  album  art.   Just...jailbreak  it  at  your  own  risk  lol,  I  almost  rendered  mine  useless.

Barbosa  had  some  geek  ideas  too  lol.   Digital  photo  frames  are  kind  of  cool,  iPod  stereo  systems  are  awesome,  I  love  mine,  although  now  I  just  hook  my  Touch  up  to  my  home  theater  system.

Ahh,  and  for  people  who  love  to  read  books,  newspapers  or  magazines,  but  hate  lugging  around  all  those  stacks  of  books,  you  can  get  an  eBook  reader.   Amazon.com  just  came  out  with  one  called  the  Kindle.   I've  heard  from  the  few  people  who  actually  got  them  that  it's  good.   It  has  built-in  Wi-Fi  so  you  can  subscribe  to  newspapers,  and  at  3  AM  the  paper  is  delivered  to  your  Kindle.  Smile

 PS:   Tog  is  right=).

GPS  nah.  I  don't  need  one  and  if  I  did  I  would  just  take  my  dad's  care  that  has  a  build  in  GPS.

I  don't  know  why  people  like  the  Nintendo  Wii  so  much.  I  guess  I  have  a  different  style  of  gaming  because  I  love  my  Xbox  360.

Guitar  Hero  3.  Heh,  the  game  is  really  really  awesome  but  I  honestly  feel  like  I  will  be  sick  of  it  after  beating  it  on  hard  (except  for  Though  Fire  and  Flames  song)  and  will  give  up  on  the  idea  to  even  try  on  expert.

iTouch  is  still  something  I  am  thinking  about.  I  wouldn't  really  use  it  for  videos  but  for  music  and  the  badass  WiFi.  I  played  around  with  one  and  the  WiFi  feature  is  so  awesome.  I  am  just  afraid  it  would  be  one  of  those  things  I  would  be  so  hyped  up  about  and  then  later  I  would  barely  even  use.

Now  my  top  choice  is  the  LCD  TV  you  mentioned.  My  CRT(I  think  thats  what  they  are  called)  really  needs  to  be  replaced  with  the  new  HDTV  technology..

Soc,  the  contrast  ratio  the  manufacturers  put  out  is  way  off  every  single  time.   There  is  no  set  way  to  test  the  contrast  ratio  so  the  manufacturers  test  it  in  several  different  ways  to  get  the  highest  contrast  ratio  they  can,  and  use  that  one.   Almost  every  time  they  get  reviewed  they  find  the  contrast  ratio  to  be  lower  than  the  advertised  ratio.   2ms  is  pretty  standard  now  too.  Razz
