Well, I've decided to make this public since I'm going to be covering a few things that involve other clans. Hmm.. Where to begin?

Okay, as some of you have noticed, I have started to call clans out if they camp me in a scrim. But only until recently has the camping gotten so bad that it's made it so frusterating that I just HAVE to say something about it to get it off my chest. It seems like now I can't strafe jump around the maps anymore, but instead, I'm worrying about how much noise I make and worry about whos on the otherside of the hallway just crouching there waiting for me to come.

A few clans that have camped me recently:

UE

It seems this playing style is getting so popular that even respected clans like UE are adapting to it. Maybe it's the other way around? I don't know, but I'm not going to deal with it anymore.. or is it that the newer clans have seen the more respected clans i.e UE or eRa camp, so they think that it's okay? Bah it's just getting to the point where I no longer have any interest for all rail and the crap I have to deal with on a day-to-day basis.

It's almost as if people have forgot what game they are playing. This isn't CS, Battlfield 2/2142, Americas Army, or any of those other slower paced FPS games. This is Quake 3 ARENA. Arena being in caps because since when do Arena games and camping go hand in hand? Never? I didn't think so.

If you guys feel like camping go to the European community. Because the last time I checked camping was frowned upon in ours. Not even a year ago, if you camped you were called out for it, and maybe even banned.

I have decided to take a break from 1.16. I'm not sure how long it will be but I can gaurentee you I will not sit on my ass and have the game I once loved be ruined in front of me without me saying what I think about the situation. I plan on to remain in o2o

, but I do NOT want to come back to this point release until things have changed.

theres a reason you dont see me playing much anymore. most of it is because of the playing style has changed so much from the past that the game is no longer fun. Thats only the 1/2 of it the other would be the constant suspicion of cheaters. There are so many out there now that its crazy. I think the game is truly in trouble if things arnt going to change.

Nick I agree with you that some things are wrong in the game. If you need to take a break I think its best for you to do so. You always have us here for ya man, just dont be a stranger now Wink

I'm still going to be online pretty much everyday, or at least I'll try to be. I just wont be playing 1.16.

ok back on topic:   i doubt things will change.   this is just how competition in this game has evolved into.   but i understand how you feel cause sometimes it can get annoying.

my personal favorite is turning a corner to see someone standing there not moving, waiting.   lol

as to the clans you mentioned, i don't think it's fair to say clan so-and-so camps.   fact of the matter is that you'll likely have 1 or 2 or more players in just about every clan that play like this, some more "campy" than others.   hehe

Yeah, I know what you mean Nick, and Mega. Campers and cheaters have become a big problem in this game, sucks all the fun out of it, and the campers and cheaters thinks it makes it MORE fun. Sad
