 If  there  is  any  game  to  be  excited  about  a  few  years  out,  this  is  definitely  the  one.  Check  out  these  videos  to  see  why  everyone  is  so  pumped  up  by  this  title.  (Ton  of  variety  here)

 A  few  other  neat  things  that  I  learned  that  I  could  not  find  through  a  single  video  or  shorter  videos:  
 
 -You  have  a  set  number  of  lives,  meaning  if  you  die,  your  character  can  lose  a  limb  or  gain  scars  until  they  can't  go  on  physically  living.  Super  expensive  treatments  can  undo  these  changes  to  your  character.  If  your  character  cannot  go  on,  a  beneficiary  you  name  as  your  next  character  gains  all  their  stuff,  but  not  any  of  the  bad  rep  for  instance.  Of  course  good  rep  does  transfer  over,  so  if  your  previous  character  was  in  the  military  for  instance,  it  wouldn't  be  hard  to  make  it  far  if  not  further  than  your  first  character  did  in  rank.  You  can  also  use  those  previous  connections  for  other  plans  too.
 
 -AI  on  planets  all  have  different  tasks  that  they  can  fulfill  and  keep  busy  with  depending  upon  how  the  economy  of  that  planet  is  handled.  A  lot  of  work  is  going  into  making  this  world  feel  realistic  unlike  previous  AI  implementations  in  MMOs.

 These  space  sims  really  have  my  attention.  Elite  dangerous  is  another  one  i'm  looking  at,  just  waiting  for  the  price  to  come  down  a  bit  more.  I'm  really  looking  forward  to  playing  both  in  the  Rift,  I  hear  a  lot  of  good  things  about  these  games  in  it.

 Yeah  Elite  Dangerous  looks  pretty  neat  too  I  would  agree,  though  I  think  I  am  mostly  still  excited  for  Star  Citizen.  The  variety  of  features  they  have  in  the  works  is  literally  immense  by  any  standard.
