Well that does seem a lot more credible of a source than my intuition just from observation but I think that's nvidias marketing strategy. I could be entirely wrong though. Seeing that Skap is running ultra on his card which is roughly as powerful as the 580GTX, I am most likely wrong haha. But that's a good thing, I usually think of worst case scenarios so I am not surprised if it happens or I am just happy when it isn't as bad as I predict.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter much to me anymore. My dad needed to spend $6k on dental work (his teeth falling off, he is getting implants) and my mom wants to do the same eventually leaving me low on funds for my new computer. I was hoping he would lend me $500 as I only got $750 to spend on the computer but that won't happen anymore. =/

yea im in a rough spot myself, moving here this weekend and my 8800gtx and psu have died together. It's going to be around 2 weeks before I have enough funds to replace them. dammit moving is expensive T-T

I forced my way into a Caspian Border server. AMAZING!!!!! Way way way better then Operation CRAPTRO. You get kicked after like 15-20 minutes but it's fun.

It seems EA has been angering a lot of preorders over no keys being received, especially for the promised early beta. I have yet to see mine as well for the open beta, although I ordered a couple days back which shouldn't have mattered. >.>

I got a chance to play today due to an open beta and my buddy having a decent rig (I'm surprised 6870 was able to play at high settings smoothly although I figure it would have trouble in Caspian). Definitely a fun game although people hiding in bushes piss me off.

Great news to me was that you can team up with your friends and join a server together as a group and be part of the same team. Definitely a HUGE selling point for me as it was the main reason I moved to console gaming.

I'm still low on funds but I am hoping for a marginal price drop of hardware by the time BF3 releases. I figure I can make a few bucks somehow by then too (although I don't have a job haha).

P.S. Mega, I am kicking myself for not taking that deal we spoke of before. I'm hoping another one like that will roll by within a month.

I finally got the EOD bot and it is amazing. It ARMS and DISARMS, it repairs, it kills people with it's repair tool which I got 5 kills in a row. ALSO no one notices the damn thing. I love it here are some pics of those games and my 5 man kill spree with it.

Solid find Mega but out of stock. It looks almost exactly like that HP deal I showed you with the 30% coupon that come with same CPU and GPU for 1050 (although shitty case and PSU). But damn does that setup look sexy, although I'd even be happy with a GTX 570. I'll still be for a lookout for a good deal since I figured I already found 2 in a single month, it should be hard to find another one by the time BF3 releases.

P.S. I played BF3 again. How the FUCK do you call out for medic pack or supply pack? I always ran out of ammo as medic so I figured I'd play support and even though 90% of people play as medic, I can't figure out how to call them out. Nor do I know how to spot people. I really hope these features are going to be in at release or at least patched in cause it's just weird without it. Skap did you figure it out?
