Yeah, I have the Corsair Obsidian 800D case...all the cables are tied in a messy bundle behind the motherboard tray but that's OK because I can't see it. Smile

Just to get everyone hyped up for Tuesday here are a bunch of pics I took from Alpha. I got more but I don't want to put them on photoshack for NDA purposes but they'll be fine here so it's 3 at a time I'll post more tomorrow. And yes I was getting 100+ FPS on "high"(or what Alpha called high) from my 5970. ATI up in the house! You Jelly?

Hope this hypes you guys up. If you want my Origin Id to add me PM Me. Not going to post it till beta is live.

Stick that LAV in the subway! I am pretty good at sticking big things in tight holes. :P

Yes this happens in the background of the game dynamically. The planes drop them off they fall and planes get shot down sometimes. The missiles are cool.

When you kill someone against a wall or solid object there blood splats on the object as they slide off. Pretty awesome effect.

Impressive stuff there Skap.

Keep us posted during the beta!

Some things I am interested from you during beta are:
-Your settings (resolution, AA, etc) and FPS you're getting.
-Gameplay. Does it feel like BF2, BC2, MoH, combination of them or just totally different? Do people communicate or use some sort of teamwork or its mindless shooting? Give us a nice review =P

P.S. Nvidia and AMD released/will be releasing drivers FOR this game so don't forget to grab them during beta.

These are the alpha hardware benchmarks which tell very little of what you will actually need.

Even the highest alpha settings only scratch the surface of the potential graphics BF3 has. For example, from what I read, AA setting was not even available in the alpha. Then you have to also account tessellation which I also heard will quite literally rape your FPS count. On top of that, even once beta comes out, high or very high is usually the top settings while the full released game has the ultra option.

DICE's recommended graphic card for this game is an AMD 6950 or nvidia 570. Game developers usually list recommended for the medium-high settings. My prediction is you will need a crossfire or sli setup of the higher end cards (6970, 580) to be able to play at max settings at 1680x1050 without dipping below 40fps.

LOL Welcome to every game made after 2005. Get used to it there is no changing it.

Anyway Beta is fun, 1920x1080 on ultra I get 45-60 FPS and then this weird dip to like 15 so I am playing at high with 100+.

They took my LAV away and there are no vehicles its kinda boring this time around.
