I  know  I've  been  spending  too  much  time  in  the  internet  because  I   read  this  in  the  gayest  way  possible.  And  I  giggled.

o2o  was  one  of  the  more  respectable  clans  in  1.16  ,  it  was  always  fun  playing  while  at  the  same  time  learning  from  the  players.

1.16  will  never  be  the  same  with  out  o2o

Thanks  for  all  the  good  memories  in  1.16

My  opinion,  be  it  biased  stupid  or  not.

I  think  it  isn't  right  that  o2o  retires.  The  fact  of  the  matter  is,  for  the  American  community  at  least.  The  majority  of  scrims  revolves  around  [i]  sBs  and  its  scrimming  each  other,  with  a  little  mix  of  the  other  clans  in  and  out  from  time  to  time.  That's  all  well  and  good,  but  the  reason  why  it  doesn't  work  is  because  (and  forgive  me  for  this)  sBs  and  its  have  a  tendency  to  cause  trouble  and  kick  people  from  the  server  (from  other  clans)  this  makes  the  clans  not  want  to  play  each  other  again  and  will  just  keep  avoiding  playing  them.  I  don't  think  it's  the  same  with  [i]  as  I  haven't  took  the  time  to  watch  their  behaviour.  Yes,  you  clans  may  play  other  people  I  know,  but  it's  always  these  three  clans  that  consistently  make  up  the  numbers.  I  know  each  of  these  three  clans  I  mentioned  have  had  like  4  matches  in  a  row  or  more,  very  often  leaving  other  clans  out  in  the  cold.  When  o2o  recruited  me  to  try  and  put  some  competition  back  into  here  these  three  clans  refused  to  play  o2o  (even  after  I  wasn't  with  them)  for  a  set  time.  It  isn't  like  o2o  actually  needed  me  to  win,  and  when  I  did  play  with  o2o  I  was  often  tied  with  Calie  (apart  from  a  few  times).  If  you  wish  to  keep  clans  in  NoGhost  scrimming,  the  simple  solution  is  to  be  friendly  and  not  act  like  a  dick  when  it  comes  to  playing  other  clans  or  people.  Im  quite  sure  in  most  clans  there  is  ex  hackers  and  what  not,  and  UE  has  the  biggest  DNS  list,  ever.

So  here  is  my  proposition,  like  it  or  not.

There  is  a  competition/cup  happening  on  the  NoQuake  website.  It  has  prizes  for  First,  Second  and  Third  place.
I  suggest  that  each  clan  enters  the  fastrail  cup  to  give  an  insight  into  what  it  used  to  be  for  fastrail  clans,  just  two  or  three  years  ago.  This  way  none  of  you  have  the  right  to  complain,  because  it  is  out  of  each  clans  hands.  Individuals  from  each  clan  could  also  donate  prizes  (if  they  wanted,  of  course)  to  allow  more  clans  to  get  something  out  of  participating  and  actually  wanting  to  play  the  opposing  clan.

Last  but  not  least,  if  you  really  think  this  is  the  right  decision,  then  goodbye  o2o.  One  of  few  clans  I  actually  had  respect  for  (even  with  the  few  individuals  that  I  had  problems  with).

Ggs  everyone.  It  was  a  pleasure  playing  with  everyone  in  my  10  years  on  and  off  q3.  I  am  extremely  proud  of  where  o2o  started  to  where  it  has  ended  now.  No  regrets  at  all  and  that  is  how  I  live  my  real  life  as  well.

Thanks  for  all  the  positive  responses.

Merky,  if  it  was  that  easy  we  wouldn't  have  retired.

You  will  still  see  some  of  us  in  the  servers  and  some  might  even  join  other  clans.  But,  most  of  us  are  older  and  have  nothing  to  prove  in  q3,  and  have  a  very  busy  lives  outside  of  q3.

 We  will  always  be  .obligated2own.

this  is  defenetly  a  sad  day  for  our  community.  but  on  the  other  side  i  think  we  all  have  to  realise  that  this  game  /  community  is  kinda  dead.  therefor  i  give  o2o  alot  credit  and  respect,  also  i  didnt  like  their  politics  latley.  but  all  in  all  o2o  has  been  one  of  the  biggest  and  longest  story  in  the  game.  i  would  like  to  thank  meganoob  for  creating  and  building  up  this  clan,  but  also  jesus,  burn  tog  and  the  other  old  fellas,  not  just  for  the  things  they  did  for  o2o,  also  for  the  community  and  the  game.  it  was  a  pleasure  to  play  against  and  with  you.
 o2o  will  never  be  forgotten,

 RIP  .o2o.

This  opening  comment  may  not  go  over  too  well  with  my  fellow  UE  members,  but  fact  is  fact.

Wearing  the  o2o  tag  was  the  best  feeling  ever  (as  far  as  Q3  goes).   When  I  finally  got  my  shit  together  and  joined  I  still  had  a  lot  of  competitive  desire  to  my  gaming  when  it  came  to  Q3  and  there  was  no  greater  achievement  than  to  call  these  ranks  home.

To  my  amusement,  the  activity  I  complained  about  towards  my  end  here  pretty  much  did  a  180  a  month  after  a  left  (which  I  had  been  aware  of  the  possibility  -  but  wow  what  a  bounce  back  that  was  last  Fall  lol..).

In  all  honesty,  I  don't  think  anyone  can  say  there  has  been  true  "competition"  for  o2o  since  eRa  and  vT  disbanded.   Yeah,  I  know  [i]  is  kind  of  like  eRa  but  it  doesn't  have  the  people  who  ultimately  left  eRa  to  form  vT  in  it  heh.

This  community  is  pretty  dead  at  this  point  so  this  decision  doesn't  really  shock  me.   Merky  was  pretty  accurate  in  how  he  described  the  fact  clans  are  actually  "avoiding"  other  clans  at  this  point.   That  approach  is  simply  no  good  when  there's  so  few  clans  remaining.   It's  just  unfortunate  most  clans  are  comprised  of  members  who  are  "adults"  that  act  like  they  still  haven't  reached  puberty.

I  guess  that  all  should  be  expected  with  online  gaming  to  an  extent  though.

 Ah  well.

 See  ya  guys  around.

This  is  sad  news,  but  your  decision  is  understandable.  It  is  clear  to  me  now  why  you  guys  locked  my  app.  Although  I  didn't  make  full,  I  still  got  to  play  and  chill  with  you  guys  and  really  enjoyed  it!  This  is  not  the  end  of  o2o  as  it  will  truly  live  in  our  hearts  (well  in  mine  anyways  :P)  for  a  long  long  time.  My  time  here  was  fun  while  it  lasted!  I  will  miss  you  guys  too  :  (  Take  care  and  have  fun  in  real  life  and  in  q3  for  those  who  will  keep  playing.
