If the rail can kill in two shots, it's over powered as it is. Totally skimmed the posts, didn't feel like reading. Lower the damage and limit the ammo. Fix your config, fix your abusers.

The option to remove rail altogether is always pesent as well. Or just nerf the shit out of it (goes hand in hand with wolf saying it's overpowered).

There is other option used in many servers, They set up the weapons equals, I mean The rocket can kill with 2 direct rockets, the rail with 2 shoots, lg can kill if you aim it well, plasma, machinegun, shotgun 2 direct shoots.

it's nerfed to a reasonable amount, it does (i think) 90 or 80 rather than 100, and a direct rocket and direct nade is set at 110, to give you more of an advantage. we can't REALLY nerf the shit out of it because the reload takes so damn long. We have to keep it a viable weapon.

btw jorel, it is true. i've NEVER seen ANYONE get banned for railwhoring. you wouldn't know because you aren't me lol. perhaps you have, but i didn't see. don't bash me because "i wasn't there"

well adding the forcing of noghost was discussed, and wasnt given the go ahead due to the amount of people that are still on demo, or prefer Nemesis over noghost.. so they left dallas the way it is so players can use what ever mod they like. (Noghost or Nemesis) The chicago server isnt "my" server its owned by warpig. i just look over it for him and im trying to draw people to it, because its been asked so many times for a server that forces noghost... but from what i've seen people will play a few games there then go back to dallas, why? basically this is a place for clans to practice and not have to worry about spamming dumbasses that play on dallas most of the time..

yeah the rail delay is kinda gay lol. they should make an updated noghost with cool scoreboards like that. Smile

the end of game scoreboard from nem/cpm is what would be awesome(acc/kills/percentages), as well as the superHUD function. i've come to prefer the noghost scoreboard though =o
also a random irritation, the nemesis models are 2x as good quality (texture wise) as the noghost ones. :s

(i rant here because mav doesn't give a fuck about opinions, sorry for teh spam :<)

Mav doesn't care about opinions? No of course not, he only scripted the NoGhost server side mod and client side mod based off the opinions of the community. At least 95% of the features you have are player requested, not to mention the fact that the client side mod itself was created due to overwhelming request from the players. Perhaps you should acknowledge the fact that Mav has a career (yeah, because surprise. Modding for FREE doesn't pay out that well), a wife and a newborn child to take care of before assuming that because options you posted on www.noghost.net (which if you requested there with people who also support the idea, he stickied for later implementation) were ignored.
