I recommend not going to tool server. He kicks you if you use "excesive" rail or if you complain about it, that isn't how a ref acts.

I'm going to send one more payment for Desire tonight, and give another push to get people to play there. Take that for whatever it's worth, but it's definately got the potential to be the answer to the shit you'll find at 2k9 or VzX server..

Even if it doesn't work out, I hope another 12 slot server catches on before this game is over - those were the best times.

I need a break from urban terror anyway. Smile

it's a general rule... the purpose of "no railwhoring" is so you can experience the full potential of the game type... If you are just gonna use rail the whole game, go play in dallas. It's more of an encouragement than anything. tool doesnt usually ever kick for it, its more of a warning. BUT if all we see is, a was railed by b, a was railed by b, a was railed by b, a was railed by b over and over again... a warning then a kick should be in order.

That's a server I would not enter..I go to play with whatever weapon I choose period. Most definitely not to be dictated.

oh my god. if u wanna make some restriction just made it via cfg like no 999 rail bullets but 9 so if u shoot 9 times ur rail will disapear... and he will be forced to use other weapon... damn. rule will be restricted by game not beacuse some 1 told 'u used rail to much ty 4 playing...' kick.

depending on the server cfg on at the time, I think the most rail you can have without picking up more ammo is 15, which is ok. What i am talking about is, no matter where the opponent is, all you use is rail. NOTHING else. ex: dm6, you see enemy go up quad bounce, you rail twice get a kill, thats OK. now, youre both at red armor, about 4 steps away, you rail, point blank 3 times and kill him in the same manner multiple times per game... that's not ok. (if you have more than just the railgun in your inventory obviously)

you can still use the damn gun (ALOT), just dont abuse the fact that it does so much damage per hit.

and its not like what you said at all, where we just go ahead and SAY oh you use alot of rail kthx gg bai and kick... if you continue to abuse the weapon we will warn MULTIPLE TIMES, and if you persist throughout multiple games, you will be kicked.

for the record, i've never seen anyone be kicked for railwhoring, and im in the server alot.

btw this applies to every weapon, if you run around using nothing but the shotgun for like 5 games then we will do the same thing. we arent discouraging using one weapon, just encouraging using multiple weapons! (since you know, it IS all weapons...)

well there is another rail only server other then dallas that is up and FORCES you to have the noghost 155 mod its located in chicago and owned by the 2k clan

it has callvote enabled so u can callvote what ever map u like, also some custom maps have been added, but not in the rotation.. just /callvote exec list and it will display the custom maps u can choose from.. Hopefully this is what u guys was looking for a server not full of noob demo players and other constant BS of that nature.. im a ref there also so any hackers u spot dont hesitate to PM me on x fire smokey42010 with the name and time there were there, i will make sure they are taken care of. With that said hope to see u guys on the server some time.. any custom maps that u like to get added let me know.

Core explained it pretty thoroughly. We never ban for the act of whoring a single weapon, we just try to keep it fun. fair, and true to the name "all-weapons".

Also, the only reason Jorel and his clanmates don't like our server is because they usually get warned and/or kicked for, you guessed it, RAILWHORING. It's quite simple Jorel, use more than one weapon, and you won't be warned!

The thing about our server is we try to keep it as far from the pills public server as possible. That means limited ammo on the spam weapons like rocket and grenades (so you actually have to run around and pick up ammo), and quad damage so if one team dominates, then they dominate. It's not all just whoever can camp and spam the best.

We also have at least 6 different cfgs, if you saw. So it's not always on just a/w freeze or 1v1. We (smokey and I) even set up an automatic ctf pug cfg that does everything a ref would have to do. Our server is customized to fit public games, and the only reason Jorel doesn't like it is because we won't let him camp red armor with his railgun. Pathetic.

Other than that, it's identical to Desire minus the callvote function heh (even location).

gL with it though Smokey, at least if your server picks up I'll definately know there's no point to continuing with mine.

Negative. I can bring many players confirming how he has abused of his privilages kicking people and abusing of it.

Tool we have beat your clan many times with the rail disabled, so you can start making other kind of excuse, be original this time.

Mininoob did a good point, It's allweapons, If you wanna use rail all the time you can do it but personally I recommend not use rail all the time, a good player could beat any railer using rockets, lightning and shotgun, so honestly use rail all the time doesn't give an advantage.
