Ill admit here and now I may be crossing lines and causing a war of words and if so lock delete, but this Merky and Hydro thing is very ridiciulous, and I just want to express some words across about my view of the situation.

First as it was stated in the other post I see it as very hypocritical for other clans to be bashing o2o

for recruiting 'hackers' when there is very little again in my opinion solid proof against them. As ive seen a few clans claim to high heaven someone is a hacker but if they want to join they're clan then hell they're clean and they'll fight for them to the end no matter who is accusing them, as long as they're in my clan.

As for Merky, the guy has been playing for ages and he's without a doubt one of the best players in the community ,in my opinion, yea hes a bitch to play against, but I won't jump to conclusions about him cheating simply because he is better than me. For me there is no soild proof against him, in my opinion.
Hydro ive played with for quite awhile, I won't deny his attitude can be weird at times, but im sure his ego will be over the moon thanks to this little event, three clans all refusing to play him because hes a 'hacker'. Again no solid proof, just a drop from a config which alot of people dropped from and if we're going to use that list by the book, then alot of players won't be playing for along time. Also he has a pretty tight gaming rig, and on a 10 year old game it really shows, with decent sound (which is what quake is basicly all about these days) and graphics it really shows on corners, the same with merky. I know hydro is running pretty much all gaming gear, and i'd be suprised if merky isn't the same.

Again if you havn't noticed this is my opinion, and ive pretty much stated that after everyline since alot of people seem to misinterpret alot of things these days, this has nothing to do with o2o

and the only reason i posted it here as it concerns these forums the most.

bit offtopic, but about those reaction times posted:
human reaction time starts from ~150ms, so it's pretty hard to believe that they got those scores without anticipating (clicking before they see green image)[80ms is definitely not valid human reaction time]

EDIT: "Simple reaction time is the time required for an observer to respond to the presence of a stimulus. For example, a subject might be asked to press a button as soon as a light or sound appears. Mean RT for college-age individuals is about 160 milliseconds to detect an auditory stimulus, and approximately 190 milliseconds to detect visual stimulus." -Wikipedia

Of course they were anticipating. In quake you do the same thing; you hear footsteps and you anticipate where the enemy is going to be and shoot.

But because we've all been playing an instagib game for many years, it's expected for our reaction times to be faster than the mean. Also, when you're accustomed to the stimuli, your reaction time is faster.

i wont enter in this hackers things, people make their own minds about it..

but those reflex tests

i did it and honnestly, i doubt someone can get 140-150 average without ''preshot'' like we say on quake..

still, merky was in a lot of hackers reliated things.. some hack programer too on xfire friend list.. etc.

i doubt its hard to hack those reflex little games

to answer ur post pixel:

i dont know if you play DDR or guitar hero, but most of the fast songs, you just gotta do it 1000 times and get to know it...

exemple: i can do all the metallica songs at expert on guitar hero / rock band(same) .... i did it actualy (no i didnt have 100%.. but i cleared easy)

edit: anticape is not what i call real reflexes honnestly

If you closed your eyes though, you wouldn't be able to do the song at that speed regardless. You are still reacting to visual stimuli.

Which could be related to quake, we play the same map constantly and after time we learn the corners and can anticipate/preshot and usually hit if your good enough.

lol...... give him a random website, i can guarantee he'll get the same reflexes. give him a minute to take it twice, and then ss and paste it into paint and then save and then submit it to you. unless you think of course merky can come up with a hack in a matter of seconds lol

Merky had 60 clicks recorded with an average of about 130 ms. You had 3 clicks. lol.

sry if i do not have the patience to try to cross the rules of that reflex test 60 times.. rofl

i personaly also did it without preshot.. i got 203 average after 20
