Well as helpful as cgame is for most people is also got into the wrong hands. Personally in the past people that I watched like Nick, Chronic, Rayden, Halo (there were moments though, today not present), Bulma, Skap, these people used cgame but did not abuse it to camp but for the advantage to not be surprised when ENTERING a room. Key word is entering, why? Cgame was made for the sole purpose to lose the surprising effect when you walked inside the room where enemies were present, not to back up and wait for the enemy to come out...

Yet just like ToG here I noticed this camping habit with cgame months if not years ago. I both thrived with challenge and became annoyed from it at the same time but I personally found cgame to be a bigger aid to me then anyone else leading me to continue to play the game.

Camp or not I would not quit the game for that but I respect Nick's decision no matter what because I disliked how people treated me when I quit. So treat others the way you want to be treated =P

I think those big servers have an impact on this.

In dallas you can't really strafe around the map, you more like go to room to room. So some people camp so they get more kills. Unlike dev1ance where there was 6 people on a team and usually 1-2 were frozen so you had to strafe. I would like to see more smaller servers.

tick has a good point.. in dallas you can just wait for people to show up. that probably breeds the habit

I'm talking about scrims only. I have no problem with campers in Dallas. I can rush them and kill them easily.

i disagree with that. when the teams are large, standing and waiting usually gets you killed since you'll likely get shot at from all directions. i guess in dallas it works but from what i see, the only players that camp in dallas are usually the ones that aren't very good anyways.

i find camping happens more when the teams are smaller, like say a 2v2 or 3v3.

either way though, i've noticed for some people, no matter the size of the teams, they always seem to do the wait and stand since that is their playing style. unfortunate, but true.

I have a way to fix this problem but it would take server ops to follow a direction and set of rules..

This would be a hard sell but it would work.

But it would bring together most clans and players and we don't want that!

Like I played few games in europe and those fuckers dont complain about camping ...almost all clans use teamwork ...3/4 poeple rush in the room ..result all campers dead....
Or dont scrim clans that camp ...Like we dont scrim xA for some time..
