This is not exactly about the website but does anyone know the commands to record a demo?

I know its possible to combine binds and that is how I had it with two simple buttons to demo can anyone figuare out how to do it or just paste it here if any of you have it on your configs? It is really helpful when I find someone suspicous of cheating OR when I want do demo myself.
All kinds of help are apprieciated =D

Yea you got the commands old skool but I know there is a way to bind that into to simple buttons. Thanks for the help. Im gonna do a research a little to find out how to do it. Ill post it if I can find it. Thanks for the start of though.

I remember Kittyloaf telling me long ago that Quake spells syncronous diffrently. Could that be the problem?

P.S. I haven't tried if it works yet

Here's a nice little toggle script for recording a demo that will even infact allow you to demo yourself without sync on if neccesary.

/bind F12 "vstr recordswitch"

/seta recordSwitch "vstr recordSwitch1"

/seta recordSwitch1 "g_syncronousClients 1; g_syncronousClients; record; set recordSwitch vstr recordSwitch2"

/seta recordSwitch2 "g_syncronousClients 0; g_syncronousClients; set recordSwitch vstr recordSwitch3;"

/seta recordSwitch3 "stoprecord; set recordSwitch vstr recordSwitch1"

Just add each of these into the console one after another and then you can simple keep pressing the F12 button to start the record with sync on, take off sync, and stop the record. Pretty simple and very convienent.

you only have to bind one key, f12. The rest is hardcoded into your cfg. thats the complicated way to make it start/stop with the press of one key.

how can u be soo lazy to just press 1 key instead of 2.. i have 2 keys right next to eachother.... 1 is g_syncronousclients 1 and the other is 0... you have to be pretty pathetic and lazy to go threw so much trouble just so u can press 1 bind instead of 2

Lol there ain't nothing about being lazy when it comes to scripting.. It's more for those advanced cfg players just like the rjscript hehe..
