Is the skin suppose to stick for everytime you visit the website? It almost seems to me like it keeps resetting to default. o.O

thats weird... I have not run into that issue before. The theme you select is saved in the database so it should stick no matter what.

more backend changes today got quite a bit off my list as well as a year old stat bug that was too stupid once I fixed it. It was so trivial I can't believe I missed it
In Statistics/functions.php

should have been:

The $nowdate has already been set so it was unneeded, same goes with $nowdate_arr. the real problem was getting the right row to show the correct hour. mutherfucking hour was set to $hour when it should had been the rowcount $k.

tl;dr i'm an idot, $hour should have been $k

wow sound was not part of the deal... mmm i'll have to get that changed.

I put that ads are coming in this post <--(clicky). This will cover the webserver costs and extras down the road. I was limiting the ads to 2 max per page. Anything more would bug the crap out of me, and you as well.

Todays edits saw many changes to the PM system, a few more changes on the backend for processing stuff but mostly hammering away on the pm's.

The inbox percentage bar actually works now. I'm not sure how it was suppose to be coded before but shit wasn't working. I ended up scrapping the table and made it a div with a spacer image to give it the % width. went ahead and ported it tot he attachments as well even though I currently don't have an attachment limit set for users. meh its there and working if needed.

Also the quick reply for pm's is working again. I don't know how long it was like that but for some reason it had a 2 at the end of the submit button causing it to go into normal reply and submit nothing. d'oh!

Conformation boxes and a few error boxes were skinned, doubt you will see them in most cases. Name search was skinned for pm's and other areas that you need to select/search for a username.

getting very close to the gfx stage of the project.

I didn't mean the ads had sound, I mean't it was an ad for Audible! Guess I didn't read that post very well...carry on! Smile

Lots of changes again today. Ive decided to kill all IE support. Im sorry it's just so busted in so many ways. IE 9 will be loads better so pray they release it soon for those that actually use IE at all. If you do use IE then this site will look blocky and slightly out of position without shadows.

bbcode was also worked on. the spoiler tags are now looking like black bars instead of a centered expandable box. I like this method better because you can use it inline without breaking the formatting. I've added the spoiler tag to the quick reply as well.

I also ended up changing the quote code and php boxes to match the size of the content they have in them instead of being boxes that span the whole width of the post box.

Links can now take effect from the [size] and [font] bb tags. unfortunately they will not be able to get colored unless I can find a way to bypass the main css link color rule. doubtful but i'll try and think of a different way.

I was trying to think of cool little dhtml tricks to pull in the theme. I'm still looking for areas where it will add a positive effect without taking away from usability.

a ton more edits went into getting all the scripting working right. I keep finding little bugs here and there, I swear its never ending.

More as it happens.

//edit added Xbox Live gamercards to the site as well. They show up when you view someones profile for now. The user must have it entered in the profile as well. you can add it to your profile by Clicking Here and it will show up automaticly. I added a few of you who posted their xbox live names recently.
