Since I installed Vista I got around to installing Q3, too. The first time I installed it with my q3 disc and I installed on maximum and it said "can not move pak0.pk3 -117" or something like that. Then I installed it on minimum and it installed in 3 seconds, but when I try to run Quake this error comes up, and the same error for when I downloaded pak0.pk3 and installed the point release. Any suggestions on this error? Mega, did you have the same problem?

Go into google and search for OpenGL errors on Vista. That'll be your best bet until Mega comes around to reading this.

This is a driver video card error...

It's well known that many video drivers don't work properly under vista..

Hense allot of games don't work under vista..

Try upgrading video driver..

Twisted Evil

I fixed over 10 machines so far this week...running vista..

All I can say is lol.
