 Rail Freeze League Round 10 [Round10] .eRa| 1:2 .o2o. (52:60) eRa and  played Round 10 of the Rail Freeze League today. Very close games really could've gone either way. Well played, Both teams. First round was played on q3dm7. Both teams have plenty of experience playing on this map so it was pretty much second nature to everyone participating :p. Started off close, neck and neck most of the match. Near the end however, kicked it into high gear to come out with a 20-13 victory. Gee Gee. Second round was played on q3dm14. Started off fairly even with both teams pulling there weight, It is an interesting map to play on with plenty of different ways to ambush opponents which we saw allot off. Stayed close up to the very end with eRa pulling off the big V. 20-19. Third Round was played on q3dm7. Yet again both clans are very familiar with this map and its layout, and yet again it was a very close round  Both being strong teams made for a stalemate through most the map with eRa leading by a small margin half way through. got there shit together and brought it to another 19-19 scenario, this time they didn't choke and came out with the 20-19 win and the overall victory 2-1!.

Rail Freeze League Round 8 and 9 [Round9] .o2o. 3:0 -UE- (60:52) Its was an very nice game without any big problems. Both clans have a nice attitude so it was a friendly game, but a close and interesting game to watch. UE started very good at the start, they rushed over to a 4:0 lead. But managed it to find a way to their game so they run behind UE with like 4 points all over the game. When the score was 16:12 for UE, did a great comeback. The game was very close to 19:19, every clan had 1 player alive, so both clans could have win it. At the end did the last frag and so they won this awesome game. On the second map both clans started same good, UE could do a bit better till the middle of the game. From then on played with a great teamwork and they won that map. On the last map, again UE played better till the middle of the game, then came back to their game and so they won also the third map.

We didn't have enough people available in round 8, but 1 and he was forbidden to play even though he is one of the communities most respected. Shameful ...congrats.

A new Quake 3 Arena based game from ID Software Yesterday ID Software did a interview detailing the upcoming game QuakeZero, a web launched/portal based game thats free. They also drop hints on the true successor to Quake 3 Arena. You can read the full interview here: www.gameriot.com/news/...-and-More/ From what it looks like ID is going to be basing the new arena game on the Tech5 engine with a focus on fast multiplayer action. IMHO that sounds like music to the ears. Its still a few years away in devolopment but its good to know they are working on it now and QuakeZero should hold us off till it arrives. Speaking of QuakeZero, they say that they are upping the visuals but keeping it low enough for everyone to get at least 60fps. Thats good news for some but many will just turn it off anyway. One thing I hope they dont remove is the strafe jumping. No game has been able to duplicate the 125fps and 333fps bounce that this community loves. Rail Freeze League Round 6 and 7 Round 6: {GD} 0:3 .o2o. (0:60) Round 7:.o2o. 1:2 #1 (42:4Cool The games went very smoothly. didn't have 4 players for the first map. Although early on it looked like were going to make it a closely competed game, #1 made sure that they weren't going to lose points so easily. The second map saw teams that were more evenly lined up. q3tourney2 is one of the smaller maps on the table and it should maybe have been a closer affair. #1 made no mistakes again and eventually won without trouble on their selected map. picked dm7 again for the final map, they played with a stronger team then before and showed their strength by winning it comfortably, which showed exactly why they are ranked highly in the league.
