id Software turns 30
Wow feel old yet? I just want to thank the company that gave us games we have dumped thousands of hours into and brought so many of us together. On Behalf of o2o, the 1.16n community and those we have lost along the way, thank you for the frags.

15 Years of Quake 3
The day was December 2nd, 1999 when ID released what would tie everyone in our community together. 15 years ago this piece of software was released and sucked in thousands of gamers into the arena to battle it out with each other. Little did they know upon release it would spark a change in the gaming world bringing eSports into the primetime view of the masses. It also gave birth to this community of demo players and 1.16n standoffs forming a lifelong bond over the skill of a railgun and the finesse of a circle jump. Today we salute the game that we poured our heart and souls into, destroyed countless mice and mousepads on, upgraded video cards to get that magical 125fps or even destroyed videocards getting to 333fps. Thank you John Carmack for IDTech 3 powering the game, Graeme Devine and Tim Willits for the gothic design we loved, Adrian Carmack, Kevin Cloud and Paul Steed for those awesome textures we marveled at for so many years. Last but not least thank you Graeme Devine for getting it all together to make it the best fps for over a decade and the subject of our obsession for many, many years.
On behalf of o2o, what's left of the community and this broke ass website. Thank you for the wonderful 15 years of existence and happy birthday Quake 3 Arena!

Due to unforeseen events the website currently looks and performs like crap. I realize its been offline for little over a month and I know its no excuse but I just didn't have the time to investigate the root cause of the issue. This is a test bed I created a long while ago to play with new features and test out things while the main site remained normal. Turns out its the only thing still working and seems like only bots knew about it as well. Hopefully it remains online for the duration of the main site rebuild which might take some time due to my lack of availability at the moment but I can assure you we will be back in full motion soon enough. Please bear with the mess and forgive me for my tardiness on getting you all on this platform.

Just checking in on everyone, hope things are going well for you all. I don't have much to say but I will comment on a few things.
First; we have had some down-times recently but it seems our wonderful host has got them settled.
Secondly, if you haven't already played it and I know its been said many times before this, PLAY BIOSHOCK INFINITE! Seriously its a great game, I have finally beat it(dam you work) and the ending threw me off. I completely didn't see that shit coming haha.
Lastly, I want to give a shout out to all of you who still check this site because I haven't forgot about you either! You still are a great community and even if were not active you are though about regularly. Love you guys, stay safe and enjoy the warmer weather!
Note: this was created 05/16/2013 but never posted. I'm posting it now just because.
