Final Version

I would like to introduce this community to a new system in order to give accused people of hacking a fair chance, and make this community a hacker free zone. First, many people would be asking what are the different this new system have compare to most of the system we have (era, united ref, pwp)

Weakness of old system

ERA:
-Most time the final words, were given by a era member
-Most people would flame topic, and get it locks

PWP:
-Most of thing are in member section so no one can see
-Not enough opinion given from the community, but mainly from pwp

United Ref:
- Too many random people ( that wish to keep their identities hidden)
- Lack of organization
- Leader of the organization are not well known enough and respected in community

The New System:

- Every clans that has been on quake for a long period (3-4years) of times (we would like American clans only for the purpose of a fair trial and because we would have a better knowledge of every players) or it is actually well respected enough will have one leader and their co-leader as a JUDGE in this system. (If clan that have more than one leader, they can have 2 leaders instead of one leader and one Co-leader)

- sBs won't be the supreme judge, every invited judge, will cast their vote in order to elect ONE person that will be moderating the SUSPECTED CHEATER/CAUGHT CHEATER section.

- ALL DECISION MADE (Caught Cheater, Illegal Command usage, Dropped players) would have to be unanimous to every clans that accept the invitation ( in order words, if player A is a caught cheater, ALL SERVER OF EVERY CLAN have to ban him)

- There will be 2 sections for suspected cheater, one open for public and the person accused, and one that will be PUBLIC, but will always be lock and only JUDGE can post comment on it, and would always have the demo/ss as the first post of topic. And finally when a verdict is reach, the name will go on list of hacker that will be like a search engine (moderate by Dan aka insomia), and a caught cheater section where no public can post on it.

Modification from old system?

- No flame, or spam will be on the main topic, people would be able to follow judge decision without having to go through all the spam

- No one nor clan is superior to an another, and the SUPREME JUDGE has been selected by its colleague

- sBs IS ONLY HOSTING AND PART OF IT, HAVE NO CONTROL NOR CAN MANIPULATE DECISION

- Everything is public, so everyone can see what judge have decided, and there wont be any judge abusing of his power, to speak for the rest

- Since everything is public, the verdict for one, have to be the same for any person who will do or repeat the same act (get he favoritism out of the way)

- If one clan [died/withdraw] judges can then decide if yes or not to invite another clan to take their spot

- There will be exactly 21 Judges (one would be the supreme) but this number seem to be a lot, however, with people inactive, people rather not commenting on a matter, this number can be very appropriate for most case.

The main idea and why we proposing it

-This community is splitting apart each days, and hackers just hate refs, and refs hate hackers, people are mistreated for the act that someone else have done in the past but got a more favorable verdict. What this would do is, bring us all closer, by trusting not only our leader/co-leader but others clans as well, and have a better feeling that everyone in our clan or in others clans are all treated equally.

- We want to have everyone from THE WHOLE 1.16N Community to post, like that not only we can clean quake of its hackers (hopefully), and ultimately, if people that are bored of hackers in other games such as Counter-strike , unreal tournament 3 (which have instagib just like us) and they heard about the reputation of our clean server, we might be able to keep this community alive for a few more years, or even revive it.

- Lastly, since we know that there is not really a police in CTF, we would also be inviting CTF clans to take part on this, and they will bring a better and accurate opinion on CTF demos and most of the people on CTF have a very good TDM background. We would also invite 3 special persons that have been helping this community bloom up to this day so here a list of Clans and people invited to join this project

Some clans might feel left out, but realistically we can't have every clans on 1.16 to be part of this because it will be too much. We also pick clan depending on the activities, involvement with the community, and so on.

This is something, I work on, and I propose it to my clan to host it, and then ASKING EVERYONE IN THIS COMMUNITY if they will accept the idea that Im proposing, because I want everyone to be treated equally, and I want us all to have fun playing this game until the last day. Lastly, Im not even participating on this.... Im just proposing it, so whoever think that im doing it for some benefit, sadly you are wrong. So now the final word are up to you community 1.16n of Quake III

No thanks, for the last 10+ years of q1, q2 and q3 I have thought for myself period I don't need anyone or specific groups of people to tell me how to find and or point out hackers. I could say more but for sake of fighting with people who have absolutely no idea on this topic I will spare you
