I really miss the quake days. I remember the camping server with the severly high rate of fire on all the weapons and it was fucking hilarious to play. Are all the q3 servers down or do people still play? Also if anyone has ps4 I would definitely try to play online with the old q3 crew.

I'd assume actual Q3 is dead. But Quake Live on the other hand is fairly active. I play it quite often since the latest update moved it over to steam.

Yeah Qlive feels a lot more like Q3 since moving to steam - being able to host servers and add pk3s etc.

If ya'll still play freeze or have any interest there's always an east coast server up.

Look for P4F East.

Not a lot of Noghost folks around so would be nice to have a few more familiar faces.

So far just myself, elmo, lady, and chosen.

I see Gilgamesh/dXa Eye now and then on the frankfurt server.

amAze and sideshow are also around from time to time. Smile

LOL I dont know how I missed this post. I will admit 10 years later I was the hated rockrt room camper on Texas who would use Visor and constantly taunt under such names as SINGLE-WHITE-FEMALE etc

re-download and play on the weekends with me and ToG! Its been fun pwning up a server. if we can get 3 of us im sure we can scrim against {CHS} they seem to have a lot of players active. Not really a challenge though they are pretty noob.

Master Server list going down years ago really did the community in (what was left of it :s).

I'm not sure how anyone finds any servers.

GoH had tons of players from all kinds of clans and since it was all weapons only we didn't have to worry about people getting kicked for ringing since scrims could never be a rail clan vs GoH.

GoH was a pretty big deal. We had a lot of servers. A lot of players. I remember after playing ra3 and seeing that there was an option to enable only rockets and nades I decided to adopt that idea had a Rox n Nades server set up in 1.16 and thus the first 1.16 rox n nades server came to be.

I'm sure most people who are still reading know about GoH so there isn't really a whole lot I need to delve into.

Ahhh Doomsday and AXEL.. miss those fuckers

And don't forget Nick.. I am the one that also helped GoH get off the ground, I still have a majority of the art works that I did for the roster.. AW was fun as shit
