All that was a waste except the last part, proves my point you don't have any experience in sounds. oNu g0dlike a pro player accused me of hacking. And I wasn't, but i was banned for being a shit talker and a excessive reconnecter. If the demo of me is still available free feel to watch it. My attitude back then explain the banned and I accepted it. The demo of me of me following a body in mega to base. It was when cgame was first made public and I was already used to it. Because of gkeel, before cgame and was used to the sound before other players and because of headphones.

Back on topic: I would like to hear other people in the community opinion on the demo aswell and to those who have posted already I would like if you would re-watch the demo's. But the most important thing would be a post from potcha.

Let's say for every 1000 times you go into yh with an enemy in quad you shoot the stairs once (that's lightly putting it).

Let's also say that only 1 out of 10 times of those yh shots is your crosshair directly on an enemy.

Using simple algebra, you can calculate that the yh stair shot with an enemy directly in your crosshair would occur 1 time every 10000 times you're in yh with an enemy in quad.

Now, let's calculate the chances of that happening 3 times.

1/10000 x 1/10000 x 1/10000 = 1/1,000,000,000,000

One out of one trillion times.

Coincidence?

For just potcha, let's say there's about 1000 people who play quake still. Therefore he's 1/1000.

For one person to make that shot three times, the probability is 1/1 quadrillion.

Let's say someone just repeated going from yl to yh aiming at quad over and over again.

Assume it takes 10 seconds per trial.

It would therefore take 10 quadrillion seconds for a clean player to do the shot 3 times.

60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, 365 days in a year.

It would take a clean player playing quake his entire life without rest, 317 million years to replicate what potcha did in ~1 hour assuming all the things assumed.

Think twice before saying "we". A good deal of players know that to play well (and not cheat), they got to be focusing their aim on the path ahead. Not just on some random wall outside the normal range. If you do that, you risk being unprepared for someone jumping around the corner or the like.

And yes, some might prefer to flick shot, but you still got to be paying attention to the pathway and not a wall itself. :P
