Well first off im glad its turning to the community to make the decision because in sick of it. i wasnt the one who noticed it in the first place. The logs have been posted for years now and when i joined a admin area for catching cheaters i did what everyone has done, posted their banlogs of cheaters. One of the members of the comunity made a reply on the match and over the next few weeks things become stale because the logs from that banlist were lost.

Why were they lost? well because i was helping mav with a log parser at the time and i had access to a few diffrent quake 3 servers. the banlist i have located on this website is from that log parser. Now that the log parser is pretty much finished my access to all those servers is back to normal and its just the ones that i own. So getting access to the servers is pretty much not possable mostly because some are offline and others have changed owners.

I have debated this with many people and its always came back to where are the logs, but i have to say 1 thing to that. THEY ARE FUCKING EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE POSTED. If i knew that it was them the moment i saw it do you really think i would have sat on it for years and let the logs slip right through my fingers? Have i ever delayed banning known hackers in my history? Do i like hackers playing in the comunity? No, no, and fuck no. the reason i left this community as a leader is because im tired of the way things are. theres to many hackers playing alongside ones who really try their best to be the best. That system is not fair to the true talent that play this game competivly.

With all that said you guys make the choices now because the "cheating catchers" site decided to sit on it because i lost access to the logs. My bad. if i would have known i would have bought the servers that i lost access to and got turned off just to have people leave me alone about this. With this info you guys can further discuss this and i hope you can resolve this on your own because honestly im sick of it.

I honestly don't see why you guys are making such a big deal about this. I think if o2o

as a clan believe the log they have from thier server is enough to ban them then they should go for it.

The majority of the people are just voting out of hate or spite.( I hate eRa!!!! /VOTE YES /VOTE YES THEY DESERVE IT.. YAY THEY ARE GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVE.) (Dramatization)

I myself refuse to vote for something silly like this and I really thought o2o

would have have handled this better.

Are you guys really trying to go for a comunity ban of Classic/Birdman/Hater/Elmo/Archer??? Is that what this thread is about?? I really don't see why you need everyone's help to ban a couple players from the o2o

server.

If that be the case I wish you best of luck in trying to find the 100's of other ex/current cheaters in this comunity to ban from your clan server.

true points, whodat. but why have they accumulated a majority that would vote based on those spiteful emotions?
Granted, that shouldn't be the only deciding factor, but even a court room judge usually leans somewhat on a descision based on his personal feelings of the accused.

I think they want to hold a public pole, because a lot of people know these guys, and their server is a public server, so they want everyone's input. If it was someone hardly anyone knows, it would obviously be a different situation, with o2o

just slapping on an automatic ban. I don't know, i could see it either way.

Hehe as I have said many times before, real life and gaming have the same sort of influence on people.. In real life, if you have a team that is practically unbeatable and paid lots and lots of money to be the best, then you can expect there will always be one or more contendors on that team that might not think they are up to those expectations.. So what do they do? They usually look for the easier routes, such as using steriods to help them get stronger.. Same can be said about hacking and I think Era fits that category perfectly..

If you let too much power get to your head, this will always be the case..

having been banned from era site for logically arguing regarding merky's ban and being told 'i'm nobody so shut up' I will speak for h$ clan here (who have all been banned) and say: BAN classic, hater and bird. simple.

why those 3? specifically those 3 have banned others on evidence equal or far less than has been posted here and specifically those 3 need to learn some manners. Read the post in era cheaters section on merky and you will see what kind of insanity level they've reached. they've banned an entire clan on complete fantasy and hearsay.

we will happily scrim those members of era that have behaved decently, people like carlos. but if enough clans decide to ban those 3 then maybe something will hit home in their thick heads that they are not dictators in what they think of as 'their community'... just guests who should pay their respects

this is not a peasant revolt against the overlords. its a democratic society saying stfu to an over-hyped celebrity.
