Also  a  few  funny  monster  cutscenes  too  Very Happy

Some  extra  Info  from  Gamespot:  The  finished  game  will  feature  more  than  250  quests  as  well  as  a  "treasure  hunter"  game  that  can  be  played  either  solo  or  with  a  friend  against  the  clock.  Based  on  what  we  saw  during  Capcom's  presentation  of  the  game,  when  you're  not  busy  slaughtering  monsters  or  looking  for  treasure  you  might  be  picking  plants,  fishing,  mining,  or  hanging  out  in  the  all-new  Pokke  Village.  You'll  also  want  to  spend  any  time  in  between  quests  crafting  new  gear  for  yourself,  which  could  mean  any  of  more  than  700  different  weapons  or  1,400  different  pieces  of  armor.  Those  are  some  big  numbers,  and  they'll  only  get  bigger  when  Capcom  fulfills  its  promise  that  additional  content  and  quests  will  be  made  available  for  download  postrelease.  (Note:  This  game  will  also  be  playable  online  too)

Hehe  it's  a  very  popular  Japanese  game  thats  soon  going  to  hit  both  the  ps2  and  psp.  I  especially  can't  wait  for  the  psp  version  called  Monster  Hunter  Freedom  2  since  it  will  be  like  playing  an  actual  mmorpg  on  the  go.  Not  only  that,  but  it's  also  going  to  have  everything  the  ps2  version  has.  Very Happy

Anyhow  though,  there  are  soo  many  bosses,  modes,  quests,  armor/gear,  and  weapons  to  keep  you  busy  for  hours.  They  might  even  think  of  releasing  this  for  the  PC,  but  their  main  objective  is  to  get  it  out  in  the  US  on  the  psp  first.  Wink

Yeah,  this  new  one  has  very  good  graphics  and  a  nice  soundtrack.  I  hear  even  on  the  psp  the  environments  are  very  alive  like  the  trees  all  sway,  and  at  times  it  rains,  and  also  it  gets  dark.  Now  all  that  on  the  psp  to  me  is  a  big  plus  Very Happy

Speaking  of  unique,  check  out  the  horn  weapon.  It  can  play  musical  notes  which  can  apply  special  addons  to  you  and  your  party  members.  Neat  huh?

I  dont  like  it.  I  think  it'd  be  cool  if  the  weapons  weren't  so  damn  huge.  Kind  of  a  turn  off  =/

Hehe  not  all  the  weapons  are  huge.  Only  some  of  them  just  because  they  are  slower  and  do  more  damage.  I  hear  that  some  weapons  are  also  elemental  and  do  greater  set  of  damage  to  certain  creatures  over  others.  You  even  have  weapons  that  shoot  like  guns  which  can  use  various  types  of  ammo,  some  weaker  and  more  abundant  than  others  especially  when  it  comes  to  how  many  you  can  use  at  a  time  before  needing  to  reload.
