 Greetings  to  everyone:

Old  clan-mates,  rookies  n'  other  peeps  who  still  peep  the  arena  of  q3.
 Darn  it's  been  some  time.

Heh,  indeed  it  is  fun  to  look  at  those  old  forums  and  'c  yourself  write  some  crazy  stuff  like  'hey  my  coldstuff  wants  yo  hotstuff'  if  anyone  gets  what  i  mean  ;ppp

Anywhat  I  prolly  wouldn't  have  come  here  if  it  weren't  for  Meganoob,  that  dedicated  bastard,  damn  dude  they  should  have  you  raped  some  day,  you're  really  holdin  things  together  here  lad  ;}o

So,  if  anyone  is  interested  how  things  were  back  in  2002  -  2004  and  so,  then  here's  what  my  bucket  remembers:

The  name  itslef  started  in  early  early  2002,  when  i  got  a  hold  of  my  first  PC,  and  found  out  about  such  a  thing  like  'online-clanning'.  My  first  tag  was  oh-so  whiteless  \o/  n'  looked  something  like  -O2O-IGO',  and  i  was  a  raw  green  wood  noob  without  a  shadow  of  an  idea  what  such  a  simple  abbreviation  like  "LOL"  meant,  and  i  used  to  shout  "LOL"  everytime  I  got  shot,  because  I  thought  it  had  the  meaning  of  "Lamer  On  Line".

So  yeah  thats  that,  and  thats  LOL  ;D;d;D

Later  on  I  started  playin  at  rail-only  servers,  such  as  DSL+FastEthernet=Trouble,  oNu,  and  100mbit  if  i  remember  correctly..So  yeah  i  became  a  hardcore  railgun  fan,  mostly  because  it  was  the  shortest  way  to  glory  -  one  shot  one  kill..

Time  went  by,  I  dropped  o2o  and  started  going  solo,  getting  any  skill  I  could,  trying  to  own  it  up  the  best  I  could..
I  was  later  on  noticed  by  WFx  (wicked  freaks),  with  such  old-schoolers  like  Corpse,  daBOMBA,  mr.Rail,  and  many  many  others  (I  bet  if  you  cw  Corspe  somewhere  around,  he'd  still  be  wearing  that  tag  =WFx=Corpse  ;Ddddd)...(It's  strange  how  hard  it  is  to  remember/distinguish  names  from  old  days,  though  it's  not  that  hard  to  remember  the  people  themselves  and  how  they  were  ;OoooOOo)
Yeh  so  I  spent  like  2-3  months  in  WFx,  then  quit  it  (god  knows  why),  and  took  up  1v1  as  a  more  supreme  mode  to  TDM,  and  revived  o2o.

Thats  how  o2o  as  a  clan  began  -  in  1v1,  good  old  days  when  NoA=BlueToOth  was  still  around  being  a  challenge  ;DDddd  that  bastard  should  rape  him  some  day...Yeh..adrenaline  flowing  through  our  veins  hammering  it  down  to  100%  accuracy  in  those  old  unforgetable  games.  God  it  pains  to  remember  ;Ddd

So  time  went  on  and  I  made  more  friends...After  few  months  o2o  had  quite  a  few  members  (not  that  there  many  in  numbers,  but  MANY-OF-EM  in  person)...the  roster  looked  like  that:

 o2o  Pr!est  (Me..)
 o2o  4dd1ct  (Andy  !)
o2o  Rommy  (used  to  tear  wallz  down  @  oNuz  server  to  get  that  6/min  (which  was  A  LOT  back  in  those  days  due  to  server  settings  (12  slot  server,  other  thingz  ;pp)))
o2o  Sk8r4eva  (or  so,  was  a  good  player  though  an  arseNhole  2  me  n'  clanmates  so  he  had  2  go  ;Ppp)

So  thats  how  our  first  lineup  looked..
It  was  back  in  the  days  when  clans  which  had  websites  and  (!)  servers  were  top-rank,  nevermind  the  way  they  played...
We  weren't  that  well  in  this  league  of  top  dawgs  so  we  had  no  website  (Andy  tried  hosting  a  forum  which  was  very  smart  and  kind  of  him,  but  no1  would  visit  us  there  so  it  eventually  died  (a  funny  thing  is  that  its  URL  looked  like  this  (http://www.g3treal.com)  which  is  almost  the  same  thing  what  is  oNu's  website  today  (http://onu.g3treal.com).  G3tReaL  used  to  be  o2o's  secondary  tag,  when  we  didn't  want  others  to  know  which  member  it  is,  all  they  would  read  out  of  it  would  be  the  fact  that  it's  an  o2o  ;pPpp,  so  these  lineups  of  2-3  o2o's  with  names  'G3tReaL'  were  quite  a  frequent  sight.

Time  went  by  (apparently..AGAIN  !)  and  we  kinda  split  up  (i  was  having  double-trouble  in  life,  plus  -  Rommy  disappeared..).  Then  4dd1ct  went  for  oNu..
After  some  time  (5-6  months)  I  put  on  the  tag  again,  full  of  rage  (lol)  that  oNu  took  all  the  good  players  while  I  was  away  ;pP,  and  so,  about  that  time  they  opened  forums  that  are  alive  up  to  this  day  (+-)  (http://onu.g3treal.com/)...

Later  on  I  invited  Jedi  (great  guy),  Aspirin  (who  is  actually  the  ol'  DaffyDuck  if  any1  remembers  !  ;DDDD),  some  others,  and  yes,  of  course  Meganoob.
Time  went  by,  had  some  problems  in  life,  so  my  online-life  in  this  community  if  one  can  say  so  -  was  on  an  edge,  I  was  about  to  quit  everything,  o2o,  q3  n'  just...nevermind  ;DppppPp
But  just  about  then  I  got  an  offer  from  oNu,  so  I  went  for  it,  wondering  whats  it  like  to  be  an  oNu  (having  in  mind  that  it  was  the  most  successful  and  mature  clan  around)  so  yeh,  I  went  for  it...and  disappeared  for  some  time  to  deal  w/  other  stuff..again...

Left  Meganoob  as  a  Leader  behind,  and  my  oh  my  whats  he  done  2  o2o  ;DDdd.  Good  job  man,  you've  really  put  the  effort  into  it,  you  guys  are  lucky  to  have  him  :Pppp,  I'd  marry  you  if  I'd  get  a  hang  of  you  some  day  ;pPP
Keep  it  up  man  you're  the  one  to  make  the  place  ReaL.

So  there...It's  strange  though  what  online  gaming  gives  to  a  person  who  spends  3-4  hours  playin  a  game  every  day..Whenever  i  see  Jessica  Alba  on  TV  I  still  remember  a  quote  from  Migs  (Jessica  Alba  is  live  proof  that  God  hates  me)  ;DDd

And  many  many  other  things...It's  really  really  really  sad  that  time  flies  like  that  and  everyday  life  (which  is  rightly  a  Bitch  as  HiCap  used  to  say)  pulls  you  out  of  this  community..
When  I  look  back  at  those  days  I  feel  like  im  91,  not  19...

After  quitting  quake  I'd  tried  othre  games...Counter  Strike  Source  (while  I  was  still  q3'ing)  Cod1  (a  month  or  2),  Cod2  (3-4  months  of  1-2  hours  a  week),  yes  those  games  are  very  successful  and  fun  to  play  (cod1  >  cod2)  but  its  nothing  alike  with  the  fury  and  the  ammount  of  adrenaline  one  can  feel  playin  q3..

If  you're  an  average  player  in  q3,  then  you're  a  pro  at  any  other  game  out  there  already,  even  if  you  haven't  taken  up  that  game  yet...it  takes  2-3  weeks  to  jump  from  q3  to  another  game  and  start  owning  everyone  up...

It  really  is  the  best  game  ever.  No  doubt  about  that.

 Bingle  Jellz  ;Pp
Miss  you  all,  love  you  all,  take  care  friends  ;DddD
Sorry  for  any  grammar  mistakes  haven't  been  typin  anythin  english  for  some  time..yeh  life  :Dddd

Wow...nice  history  lesson  there  Godlike.   I  would  of  loved  to  play  with  you,  but  unfortunately,  I  came  into  Quake  1  year  later.

I  couldn't  agree  more.   I've  tried  other  games  but  nothing  comes  even  remotely  close  to  how  this  game  feels.   Downloading  the  demo  of  Quake  3  was  the  best  decision  I  ever  made.   Smile

Oae,  oLd  school,  you're  sk8a4eva,  are  you  not  ?
I  presume  myself  being  right,  making  you  the  first  o2o  member,  well,  at  least  that  is  what  sk8a4eva  was.  If  its  you,  then  indeed  ironic  it  is.  I've  also  noticed  that  you  live  in  Las  Vegas,  Nevada,  thats  where  sk8a4eva  comes  from,  too.

Those  early  day  nubub  conflicts  we  had...I  can  barely  remember  whats  what,  only  the  few  good  days  whilst  you  were  w/  our  first  crew,  you  were  quite  good.

And  heya  Jesus,  LeBron  and  whats  up  DemoN  ^_^
To  answer  what  do  I  do  nowadays...eh  well  got  like  2  jobs,  gathering  money  for  a  6-7  month  visit  to  the  Northern  side  of  Europe  where  I  will  hopefully  be  getting  a  well  paid  job  *cough*...
Anywhat  I  only  use  PC  to  d/l  and  watch  episodes  of  TOP  GEAR,  those  guys  crack  me  up  lol,  that  show  alone  can  make  ones  day  any  day  of  the  week.
 If  I  get  a  spare  minute  I...kind  of..have  a  chess  game..*cough*  *rollseyes*...Yes  I  kno  that's  old-manish-stuff  but  it  has  many  benefits  2  it:
   -  if  I  play  1  game  a  day,  there's  less  chance  in  gettin  Alzheimer  sickness  later  in  life
   -  chess  has  been  around  for..like  2000  years,  it's  a  well  balanced  game  and  you  may  really  get  to  feel  passion  for  these  corridors  of  squares  if  you  get  into  the  game  properly
   -  1-2  games  take  only  10-15  minutes  @  miniclip.tournaments.com

So  thats  that.  I've  quit  gaming,  which  is  sad,  though  I've  still  got  great  memories.  You  guys  keep  it  real,  I'll  visit  ya  sometime  when  I  get  around  again.
