Really glad to see this stuff is still up.
Warms my heart :D

Wanted to say hello to Meganoob and all others that are still around these corners :P

I've just recently installed 1.16n to play some 1v1 instagib rail on q3dm17.
Perhaps some of you would like to catch a game here and there.
Not sure how to organise it, because most of us work nowadays, and there's a time difference.

I've been hanging around in these two servers, mostly, named as M.

I wouldn't mind a 1v1 insta with you God. Haven't played much Quake as of late since I have had other things going on in life. Lately for gaming though it is has been reliving some Zelda TP in VR. It is truly amazing.

Do you have steam and if so, what is your id? Mine is Darvon with the white wolf as the profile image. We could chat there and hook up with a few games or more.

Zelda TP looked awesome, watched some streams. Such a relaxing game, in comparison to all the games you have to constantly remind yourself that you have to perform. Must be getting old <_<

For people who have no idea how to get "q3" back, or how to download it - I can help out here, there's an old trick. You don't need to download it off torrents or search for an old CD.

Just write a message here and I'll tutorial the sh*t out of you :D

What.. There is another Darvon who has a wolf like me? Blasphemy! Seems like that might be what happened so I added you.

Also sounds neat about that trick. Does that have anything to do with the demo being able to use 1.16n pak file? Cause I recently noticed that lol..

I even did something crazy and unthinkable.. Where I was able to force the modded demo to use the demo pak file again after butchering files within the 1.16n pak file but found I was still able to use mods.. So I yanked the keel model out of the 1.16n pak file and edited the md3 to correctly act as an external file. Then had it uploaded to the server as its own pk3. Then bam, demo with the same file could use green keels. I did this because I realized that the demo version was less burdened by stuff that existed within 1.16n, so it could often have a slight advantage.

Anyways, from what I understand, most now play QL or have been waiting on Quake Champions to get finished. Don't know so much about 1.32.

I've been good, I moved to Texas early this year for work and have been crazy busy over since. I'm coming up on a vacation soon though and going to head back to cali and enjoy myself with friends/family.

Haha I was gonna say something along the lines that Im glad this site is still up. Going on 29 now Its weird to think its been nearly 10 years since playing q3 regularly. It seems as if we were all 15 years late to the party with how massive gaming has become since the old days haha.
