Hi guys.   As many of you may know it has been quite some time that I have been thinking of making a tournament for the quake 3 arena community.   I always wanted to organize one.

www.frag-warz.co.nr (go to link after you have read this) is the website.   It is being updated as we speak so changes will be made.   You can still register!

Frag-Warz is a brand new idea.   It involves just about whoever.   (ex-cheaters and other issues will be things I and other admins will revise.

Anyways Frag-Warz is a fun tournament.

1st of all   you must register on the website and register your name in the apropriate forum your information.
ex.
Your name in q3?
Past Clans?
How many years have you been playing quake 3 arena?
Have I ever dropped if so why?

These are a few questions you have to answer.   If everything is swell which it most likely will be then you are added in a pool.   We are looking to have 40 players or more registered.   MAX 60.

What Frag-Warz will do then is generate a tournament.   I have a program which automatically makes even teams.   It's called neutr0soft DMTG.   Look it up if you are not sure.

I will then base my knowledge on the teams.   if i see one is way to week and one is way to strong I will then redo the the teams.

The way Frag-Warz will work with team names ect is that once your team is made it's YOUR job to come up with a name, tag, colors and creativity.

Frag-Warz will be holding stats each and ever week so you will be able to see who is the best player fpm ect.

Now more into detail when your team and your opponent have agreed on a time Frag-Warz will be selecting 6 to 7 referees.   The reason being is because sometimes ref's can't make it so it's always better to have many so incase someone can't then their another one to cover up.   Each ref will have a game to ref.   If he/she can't make it then the enxt in line will have to cover up and get 2 matchs to ref.

Frag-Warz is a competition.   It's for fun but it's a best of 3.   1 TDM and 1 CTF map guranteed.   If needed another map it will be TDM of your choice.   Home team gets last pick.   So the if team (bc) plays vs team (bolts) and team (bc) wins the first match on q3dm7 25-24 and looses the CTF match on CTF 1 6-5 then team (BC) chooses the 3rd map of tdm because they were selected to be the home team.

The server is in the UK ip adress:   87.117.196.162:27960    (it has the same config as HS SCRIM SERVER TDM)
                                                            or NYC   208.100.20.32:27965         (It has the HS scrim TDM config uploaded.   CTF config uploaded as well)

Before each match on the forums the TEAMS will coose which server they want to play on.   We have 2.
Each team will get 4 or 6 home games depending on how many players and teams will sign up.

It's very smple and it will be a lot of fun.   I hope many sign up.   I have done this for you guys and want everyone to have fun.   Let's all sign up and kick some ass.

Alot of tournaments are going on at the moment, this might explain why there is no answers... Give us time to organize our schedule Wink

who cares about a cheater tourney,,,it's very ridiculous.

The whys and hows are unimportant a cheater is a cheater no need for any more discussion.

This is the kind of thing which is killing 1.16n.

We didn't reply because we have standards...

Period.
