I spray all the time in BC2 and I did it in Battlefield 2 as well. Battlefield games are not tactical they are big huge battles where you deal with Tanks, Missiles, Jets, and helicopters and hope to god you can take it out before it sees you. Also the hit detection and running damage multiplier bugs are fixed in the final build. There is bullet drop, plenty of it. You'll notice it on Caspian more then Metro.

Also have no fear for the game people here is two new map vids and you can clearly see this is running a much newer version of the game where even the flag animations work(yes they don't work in beta that's how far behind the beta is).

Do you use AN-94, MG36, VSS or AKS-74U? If so, that would partly explain it. These guns are the overpowered guns of every class, and they allow spraying without much consequence. If you would spray with, say, the G3, which I consider the hardest weapon to "master" for long shots, and be accurate, then I would very much like to know your tricks. I consider myself fairly familiar with the "bullets drop" system.

Dude I have a gold star on every gun in BC2 and plats on a lot of them. I even have a gold star on every Vietnam gun. BF has never been a game where you need to ADS to fire effectively unless your at range. There is bullet drop trust me go play Caspian you can watch your bullets fall now over long distances. Out of the guns you posted the only ones I abused was the AN-94 but that was a while back and I was seeing if you could get double plats on weapons back then.

I guess we just have different playstyles. As for BF3, I suppose the bullets drop is just slower, like "faster bullets" in a way, than BC2. Maybe this way it's more realistic, I don't know. Guess I'm just used to BC2.

That is exactly my point. ADS doesn't work quite well in BC2. Only a few weapons, such as MG36, will allow you to spray. Even when I hipfire, I click multiple times instead of spraying.

It's becasue from your stats I can clearly see that all you play is Squad Deathmatch. THE WORST GAMEMODE EVER! I played it and Squad Rush once to get the pin and never touch that crappy COD gamemode ever again. You have an objective score of 50K in 200 Hours and do not have the RUSH or Conquest good service insignias. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE THE MAINTENCE ISGINIA!!!
It takes 5 minutes to get that one repairing a vehicle which according to the stats you have almost no time in.

I started playing BC2 on Rush gamemode only. When I moved to SQDM, I believe it was the best move I did for this game. I was tired of having noob teammates that would make me lose the game. Now I'm all on my own, and if my team lose it's partly because of me. BC2 has nothing, I repeat nothing to compare with COD, not even the game modes. Saying this is almost an insult to BC2.

Well, just had a great round of BF3 Beta's Caspian border.

Had a great time, as a gunner for the Chopper, mostly because of amazing heli pilots.
Had a go on jets, and I find them nice to fly, but somehow...too slow, perhaps ?

Kinda not liking the IGLA-STINGER system they've implied here. If anyone has played BF play4free, the stationary checkpoint-igla system is much more fun somehow. And air vehicle speeds are much more fun in that game as well ? Uh ?!

Maybe I'm talking nonsense, because the game was all laggy and hard to say whats what, and still it's an early build beta, which doesnt even let you use a joystick, but still !

But did everyone like they air combat ? Skap ?

Stationary AA in BF2 and BF P4F is useless when a good piolt is around.   Eventually all jet pilots knew where the Stationary AA was, how far it could fire and avoided them and killed people on it constantly.   It was totally useless and still is.   The helicopters would rape people in the stationary AA before they even had a chance to fire at them.   That's why the Stinger exists for engineer for BF3.   It rapes helis like it's no buddies business but it can be avoided in the Jets if you go above 750 feet.

Jets are frustrating to use becasue you lack Flares and heatseaking missiles until the 3rd unlock.   And even though it only takes like 4000 points to get them it's so damn hard to get that many points in the jet.   I spent 4 hours yesterday without them against people with them and was going 0-10 and such with like 500 point rounds.

Once you do however you start doing this

I went 8-0 in the jet before someone crashed into me to kill me(I had a previous death on the ground before that one thus the 2).   They fly pretty well and once you learn the BF3 flight mechanics you can fly forever without getting shot down.   Felt like BF2 again after that.

That's a bit of a relief. I tried pretty hard, but couldn't get my Logitech Extreme 3D to work. Went a few times with mouse+keyb, didnt like that one bit.

Anyway, what else do we hate on ? Ima keep hatin on the deploy menu. Dire piece of sh*t ;D
