Lol..  people  at  pwp  forums  arguing  against  Obama?  They  like  have  the  most  to  gain  from  him  being  president.  There's  a  trend  that  shows  higher  educated  people  tend  to  vote  republican,  but  it  seems  like  it's  the  complete  opposite  over  there.  (Idiots  wanting  Mccain).

Oh  well,  more  than  half  the  people  on  quake  aren't  intelligent  enough  to  understand  what's  to  come.

There  are  benefits  and  downsides  to  having  either  one  of  them  in  office;  it  really  doesn't  matter  in  the  end  because  either  one  would  have  been  better  than  Bush.

What's  done  is  done,  let's  move  on.

I'm  just  going  to  take  your  random  statistic  of  saying  1/10  people  recieving  government  support  are  using  it  for  honest  reasons.  That's  9/10  people  digging  themselves  into  a  deeper  hole.  People  should  be  taxed  fairly.  I'm  all  for  helping  out  someone  who  will  justly  use  the  support,  but  no  money  should  go  to  the  filth  who  use  it  for  fucking  themselves  in  the  ass.

Anyways  another  thing  I've  been  thinking  of  lately  is  gun  laws.  I  personally  own  a  few  guns  (for  hunting).  I'm  really  questioning  what  sort  of  gun  restrictions  are  going  to  be  put  into  place.  Obama  has  supported  gun-bans  in  certain  areas  and  even  a  statewideban.  Where  I  currently  live  currently,  homeowners  are  required  to  own  some  sort  of  firearm  (other  than  people  on  school  campus).  The  crime  rate  is  EXTREMELY  low.  Why  would  gun-bans  be  enforced  if  mandatory  firearm  ownership  has  proven  to  lower  crime  rate?  Taking  away  guns  is  going  to  open  up  a  chance  for  peopel  who  illegaly  purchase  guns  to  commit  more  crimes.

At  the  moment  we  are  in  an  economic  struggle.   To  preserve  the  country  and  "fix"  our  problems  obama  is  trying  to  take  money  from  those  who  have  it  to  use  opposed  to  taking  things  from  people  who  have  nothing.   Of  course  it's  not  fair  to  those  who  worked  very  hard  to  get  than  money,  but  because  they  worked  their  asses  off  they  can  help  the  usa  come  out  of  the  recession  it's  in.   It's  not  like  communism/socialism,  but  almost  the  same  principle  applies:  everyone  being  middle  class.
Not  everyone  will  be  middle  class,  but  it  should  help  the  poorer  be  able  to  get  richer  and  richer  be  less  rich.   It  about  equality.

I  agree  with  you  on  the  gun  laws  --  taking  away  someone's  self  defense  might  cause  some  issues  too.   Unless  they  know  karate  o.o

Washington,  DC  where  I  live  had  a  district-wide  ban  for  years  and  it  decreased  gun  violence  significantly.  The  ban  was  just  reversed  because  it  violated  "The  right  to  bear  arms".  Gun  violence  has  already  increased  since  the  reversal.

I  do  not  think  a  ban  is  neccessary  but  control  is.

 damn,  i  looked  it  up.
 wtf!  crazy  hick  towns...

i  don't  agree  to  requiring  gun  ownership,  but  i  don't  think  gun  bans  are  the  answer.

The  gun  bans  usually  refer  to  assault  rifles  and  handguns.  I  would  really  get  a  good  laugh  if  you  use  any  of  those  for  hunting.
Using  the  AK47  for  hunting  would  be  pretty  fun  tho  haha.
As  for  handguns,  I  don't  think  there  will  be  close  combat  action  with  you  and  a  deer  where  you  have  to  pistol  whip  it  or  but  a  bullet  in  its  head.
In  the  end,  I'm  not  tree  huger  or  animal  lover  but  killing  an  innocent  animal  like  a  deer  seems  wrong  to  me.  Go  fishing,  I  feel  no  remorse  for  them  lawl.

Anyway,  McCain  wanted  to  continue  the  tax  cuts  for  the  rich  as  Bush  started.   As  we  can  see  so  far  the  upper  class  has  been  only  been  getting  richer  and  the  middle  class  have  been  losing  jobs.  You  can  definitely  tell  it  is  better  to  spread  the  wealth  then  letting  the  rich  become  richer.  Heck,  my  dad's  and  mom's  business  brings  them  $300,000  a  year.   As  my  dad  stated  that  my  living  standards  won't  be  as  high  meaning  instead  of  getting  an  Audi  A5  for  my  SECOND  car  I'll  be  getting  an  Audi  A4.  Really  though,  I  would  prefer  getting  a  better  car  but  in  the  end  at  least  the  tax  money  will  most  likely  be  put  into  a  better  use.

 Hiya  o2o!
 Long  time  no  see.

People  hunt  with  handguns,  it's  just  not  that  popular  due  to  being  less  effective  than  a  rifle,  some  people  just  enjoy  their  handguns  or  find  a  challenge  in  it.  Shotguns  are  much  different  than  handguns/rifles  though.

 hi  nike.
