I blame cgame/noghost mod/forceplayer models/ nemesis etc.
Any way to block all that out before the start of a scrim/war?

I agree and have said this already in words and jest for the last year or more. With my playing style I could still successfully play against players who were cheating and/or using teh add-ons (when they are not camping). But now since every corner I take I see someone standing not moving waiting for me. so obviously they have the jump on me, Not fun! So this game died for me 9 to 10 months ago. My handicap also is another reason but still I thought I still did pretty good using 70fov. I will never use cgame or the noghost variant; it’s the way I rebel against the new system which in my opinion has ruined the build completely. Some people love this noob camping way and I wonder just what they love about it.

I fondly remember fast games with no camping which required certain skill, people caught hugging doorways were called out and eventually kicked if they did not comply, now a days the only skill needed is the ability to crouch/creep near a doorway using a very small radius.
Most any person now can see enemies and hear them at great distances. Result: All the mediocre players now join clans, the end!

was my haven. No cgame and very empty because other players not in the clan want to play in servers with the add-ons. idk Since and only since we had to comply with the last tourney rules we had to add it.
I know if I attempt to remove them now I will get shit on, I had thought that when we played together as o2o

in server we were in effect having fun without the cgames and eh noghosts but I was wrong..I was the only 1 having fun..LOL I am definitely getting to old to be here.

All in a days work.

Well ...I cant see enemys   now w/o   noghost cgame I am so used to it....I can use green sarge as enemymodel though ))
Btw ctf ...playing ctf w/o cgame eh   ...
But I dont care .... new tourney is coming   we can remove cgame from o2o

server and own all in teh league! Sadly 1st person that will get owned is me : )

I understand you Tog, but I don't completely blame it on the cgame/noghost. When I was in Tk and that there still was not much camping, atleast I didn't notice much at all, but as I got into dXa I noticed much, much more.

I use cgame but, I absolutely HATE it, I would love for you to take cgame off of o2o

server Tog, and I absolutely agree about mediocre players joining clans. Sad

I for one like cgame. It gives me a chance to seperate my team from the other. Since I have a max graphics config, without cgame it makes seeing models very difficult sometimes.

But this isn't saying I absolutely need it. I have played in the past without it and have done just fine. This is one reason why I like cpma so much. Cpma completely eliminated footsteps so you can't corner camp. If there was a cgame without footsteps then I would be very content.

But we all know that isn't going to happen so looks like 1.16 is just turning into a major noob-fest.

isnt there a command to turn off footsteps in the server config?

there is Cool

dmflags
32 = No footsteps --> Turns off the footstep noise.

i'd suck withuot cgame. after my first month of playing or 2nd i got cgame. i cant bare without it lol. all the models so easy to see with cgame.
