alrite this is where i put my foot down...im not defending any1 and i dont mean to offend any1...but here it goes...playing q3 for alla these years certain mods come and certain mods go, certain players come and go, but the 1 thing that should always remain while playin q3 is the fun...ppl get too wraped up into the game and think about it as competition and you must win to be the best...I was on that path and had lost sight of what truely drew me to the game...the fun...the fun in servers with some of your good homies jus fuckin around or jus plain fraggin it up...i have not only known HaLo and the rest for a long ass time but i can see wut HaLo is trying to get at...some ppl dont like HaLo...but thats your business...Don was jus getting tired of the same ol thing everyday...lemme describe our routine:

1. 9-10 . o2o

.'s on MSN but yet all of them always seem 2 be away or busy

2. Some1 IM's me on MSN to see if I want to scrim

3. We usually end up scrimming .eRa| and the matches usually take 30min-1hr depending on how slow every1 is

4. We win or lose yet we always scrim each other

5. So many other clans are 2 buzy holding grudges and telling there clans which clans not to scrim that this community is turning into a fuckin cock fight

When you go thru that routine daily for about a year or so...it gets pretty fuckin rediculous...and then every1 wonders y all the go0d players have left or do not play as much...becuz it gets BORING...A/W is jus another side of q3...i used to be quite good at it when i first started playin q3 so long ago...but now that don has his server up...its something different...something new...something other than the same god dam routine we go thru everyday...and you know wut?...i like it

I get on don's server 2 see ppl like Chronic, Skap, HaLo, TorN, Axel, Doom, DamieN, etc. ...players that i honestly haven't played with in a minute...and its fun! its great to see old faces and to get on and frag with them and jus bullshit with them on TS...those are the things you remember and have fun with...so everyone jus stop the hate on something thats not the same ol fuckin boring rail routine...step into the server and see how fun it is for yourselves...thats all i gotta say Smile

You know what I remember? Winning, because that is honestly all I have done! Haha jk. But seriously, when I have fun in Quake I suck as hell and get bored, when I play and play good and win, I have lots of fun! I'm different!

First of all it's not like im quitting quake. Ill probably play rail FFA or something that doesnt involve sound whoring and corner camping. But for the time being I don't want to participate in scrims.

And Med thank you for posting that b/c I was about to explain WHY I'm putting down the railgun for a while.

I've been playing this game for 6 years. And throughout those 6 years i've put rail before all weapons. All weapons was always on the back burner so to speak. I played it but not as much as rail. Now i'm switching it up for a little bit. To have some FUN like med said. And i GAURENTEE you I have more fun in one day on TS and in Halos server than any of you "all rail players" have in 20 scrims of winning. I piss my pants laughing so hard from all the funny shit that happens in Halo's server and some of the things that Axel says. So if you want to hate me for doing what I think is fun then fuck you... plain and simple.

I have nuthin to do with anyone setting down thier railgun for a bit and enjoying higher levels of q3 on 1.16. This was mearly nicks choice. My threads are funny because , i like to keep shit fun. Yours if you read that one, are by far to serious brother. This area will continue to grow, nick has just opened a whole new talent area especially in the tricking region. In the past 2 weeks I have seen some of the best ideas/skills come out of the following people..

Like i said i seen skills i didnt know they had, them as well i think. Its time for them to accel in my eyes, under my watch. These 3 have skills that you are over looking TOG. Please let them shine for GoH and yet again shine on another level on 1.16

I really hope AXEL reads this and finally decides on what hes going to do with railing, only reason hes been back around is for my server, he'll tell you that himself. I am not putting words in his mouth =]

I will be directing him here. I hope your ready to hear what another highly respected q3 railer/player has to say. I dont want ANY more hate towards me, im trying to do better for 1.16 and it seems im doing worse in both your eyes?

PS: why bash something like my server, when it seems so much more fun then railing especially on TS.
PS2: I would like to thank these three for advertising my server and help me out, all 3 of you have been a great help to this new area. Skap as well for spear heading the up comming tourney.

From my point of view, This is not HaLo's fault at all. Rail is getting preetyn boring now cause it's always the same thing. Well preety much.

But!

If some of our members decide to go A/W well it's their problem. But Nick, you just joined about a month ago and now you want to hang up the railgun? There's alot of people that wants to join . o2o

. and if some of our memebrs only play A/W well they take place on our roster and they won't even play with us anymore. If you guys decide to go A/W before all...well don't be surprised your . o2o
