I have the XtremeMusic X-Fi tiz a great card. I had picked it up at circuit city over the past holiday. If you have an onbord sound card thats giving you hell i reccommend picking up one of these. I think mines the bottom version but it is way better then my Audgity 2 Platinum in games. it has some pretty cool features too. the only i like the best is stero expand so i can play 2 channel music in my 5.1 setup with every speaker working instead of just the front 2.

what can i say i like the little things ^-^

I have my 5.1 butnever use it because I have to get behind my comp to plug in my mic and headphones.But when I am in the mood for music I change it over and can rock the whole house with it.

I've never seen a sound card that goes up to 8.1, sweet.

Yea i believe it supports, 6.1, 7.1, or 8.1 THX suround sound.

yeah im really thinking of getting one of the new sound cards, b/c my X-Fi Elite Pro Died... Sad

now im stuck on onboard and let me tell you, i cannot hear anything that good.

ps: mega rember that day i installed that sound card ahah :P
